Our beautiful dog grooming salon has been a true labour of love with lots of sweat, a bit of blood and a fair few tears (mainly Anna’s!) and as a result we’re super proud of what it has become. We have big dreams for the future of The Dog House so watch this space!
Your pooches are treated as if they were our own. There’s no such thing as 
toooo many kisses! We always allow plenty of time for the groom so we can work at a pace to suit your dog. Every groom is tailored to your dogs specific needs, if you don’t know what it is you want from your groom we can make recommendations where a little guidance is needed.
Every dog can learn to love to be groomed. We endeavour to form a bond with your dog thus resulting in a relaxing stress free groom.
Our dog grooming salon is situated in Barky Thorpe at Roots Farm Shop. The perfect excuse for tea and cake whilst your wait for your dog! Roots is a farm shop for all the family with animals to feed and ride on tractors in the play barn. We’re just a couple of miles from Thurmaston Shopping Centre too so you can drop and shop. Our dog grooming salon is also within easy reach of the villages Thurmaston, Queniborough, Syston and East Goscote!
